Kentucky State Police Searching for Escaped Inmate in Simpson County

FRANKLIN, KY. (April 24, 2025) – At just after 10:00 A.M., the Kentucky State Police Post 03 in Bowling Green received a call from the Simpson County Jail about an escaped inmate. Troopers arrived onscene at the jail. 

The escaped individual has been identified as Christian Jones, a 50-year-old white male, he is 5 feet 10 inches tall, with brown hair and blue eyes. Mr. Jones walked away from a work detail in the area of North College Street and was last seen in a blue Subaru Baja heading toward Tennessee.

The investigation is ongoing and will be led by Trooper Adam Morgan.
