Kentucky State Police Investigates Double Murder in Bourbon County 

Bourbon County, Ky (April 3, 2025) The Kentucky State Police (KSP) Post 6 Dry Ridge is investigating a double murder in Bourbon County. Bourbon County Dispatch received the call initially and then contacted KSP for assistance. Two deceased adults were located at the scene, a male and a female. KSP Detectives were called out to work the incident. A male suspect was located at the Rowan/Carter County line by KSP Post 14 Trooper and taken into custody without incident. No names are being released at this time. KSP is being assisted by the Bourbon County Sheriff’s Office, Kentucky State Police Post 14 Ashland, Paris Police Department, Bourbon EMS, and Bourbon County Coroner’s Office. This incident remains under investigation by KSP Detectives.
